This presentation reports on the findings of a citywide survey that details managed care consumers’ experiences obtaining and utilizing public health insurance.
Focusing on low-income consumers, this survey uses quantitative and qualitative methodologies to elucidate the health care experiences of individuals in New York State. This information can inform future programming targeting the specific needs of this subpopulation.
