Income, Poverty, and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2007

This report presents data on income, poverty, and health insurance coverage in the United States based on information collected in the 2008 and earlier Annual Social and Economic Supplements to the Current Population Survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau.

This report summarizes the census data on health insurance coverage and presents charts and tables on the types of coverage used, demographic characteristics of the uninsured, uninsurance among children, and state level data. This large, population-based survey, provides important data on insurance trends in New York State and the nation as a whole.
