This report grades New York State Assembly Members and Senators on their track records with legislation related to health care.
Legislators are rated on the level of action they have taken on health care topics. Topics include expanding enrollment in New York State’s comprehensive public insurance programs, improving access to affordable prescriptions drugs, reinstating rate hearings in the private insurance market, and promoting efforts to provide quality, affordable health care for all New Yorkers.
