January 2009
The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health was founded in 1940 to promote improved mental health for the people of Texas through the support of effective mental health services, research, policies, and education.

The foundation has accomplished its mission through grantmaking for mental health service, research, public education and policy projects in Texas. The foundation also operates internal programs related to mental health including policy analysis, public education, and conferences on timely issues for the benefit and enrichment of organizations and communities statewide. The foundation selected three priority funding areas: Integrated Health Care, Cultural Competence, and Workforce Development.
