The City University of New York (CUNY) Office of Veterans Affairs is dedicated to fostering a sense of community and to developing a channel of communication among veteran and reservist students, and with faculty, staff, and administration. This Web site is a virtual one-stop source of information regarding services for veterans, reservists, and their dependents.
It is also a guide to educational benefits, entitlements, counseling, and advocacy resources, which assist veterans in pursuing their academic and civilian careers. Each CUNY college has a veterans affairs representative. Some campuses have a full-service office that offers a range of counseling for all enrolled veterans and reservists. All veterans affairs representatives are able to offer appropriate referrals for the following services: academic advisement and tutoring, career services, child care, counseling, disability, financial aid and benefits, housing options, and women’s centers.
