This report, by the Commonwealth Fund, examines the weakening of employer-sponsored health insurance and whether the state’s employers are making more use of public health insurance programs than in the past.
In New York, as in the nation, employment-based health insurance covers more people than any other source. This report is based on a survey of 576 employers in New York about their health insurance provision. The experiences of New York employers are contrasted with those of employers nationwide.
