Four distinct nonprofit agencies—AIDS Community Services of WNY, Inc. (ACS); Alianza Latina Inc.; PRIDE Center of WNY, Inc; and the Evergreen Foundation—provide HIV screening and prevention services to thousands of residents in the Buffalo area and have been negatively impacted by the current economic downturn. With NYSHealth support, these four nonprofit agencies will integrate their financial and data systems to improve quality and outcomes administration, long-term cost savings, and increased consumer and employee satisfaction.

These partner organizations are struggling to maintain and improve the quality of their programming in the face of growing consumer demand, a shrinking and/or inadequately skilled labor pool, thinning resources amid personal, State, and national fiscal crises, and increased dispersion of clients in the community. An advisory group comprising representatives from each partner agency’s management team will work with external consultants to implement the consolidation. Consolidating the management and data systems will expand the financial systems’ technical capacity to support collaborative fiscal management, and an integrated database will improve client relations and service delivery.
