As NYSHealth Program Intern, Dannalis Parra provides administrative assistance to the Foundation’s Program Associate and Executive Assistant.

Prior to working at NYSHealth, Ms. Parra was an assistant teacher at 1199 Future of America Learning Center where she worked briefly as an advisor to the Wellness Program. Ms. Parra provided guidance on how to introduce nutritious eating practices into the classroom's monthly curriculum.

Ms. Parra is currently working on her Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Sociology and Early Childhood Education at Lehman College with an expected graduation date of May 2009.
