Linda Lee has a background in social work, administration, and health care. Most recently, Ms. Lee served as an intern at the North Shore/Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Health System working at the children’s bereavement program called “The Center for Hope.” Ms. Lee worked closely with the Director of Social Work at North Shore/LIJ, where she focused on program management, including budgeting, grantwriting, program evaluation, and daily administrative tasks. She also played a role in organizing the program’s various annual events, which brought families together to celebrate and remember their loved ones. Ms. Lee also served as a social work intern at the Parsons Beacon Program in Flushing, Queens, where she ran a teenage Girl’s Empowerment Group that created a safe environment for young teens to discuss daily issues they face in school. She also focused on program management, budgeting, and evaluation.

At the Long Island Conservatory, an academic organization that offers tutoring programs, music lessons and a music college program, Ms. Lee managed the school and all of the programs’ aspects under the President and CEO.

Ms. Lee holds a Master of Social Work degree in Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Barnard College. She has served as an officer on the Social Enterprise Administration Caucus at the Columbia University School of Social Work, which worked to increase the awareness and importance of administrators within the nonprofit sector through various events.

As the executive assistant, Ms. Lee is responsible for managing the President and CEO’s day-to-day activities as well as a variety of special projects.
