Integrating Mental Health/Substance Use Services Resource Center

Did you know that more than 1.4 million New Yorkers have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders? Fifty percent of people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders receive no treatment, while only 10% receive evidence-based treatment for both conditions. Although there are data and resources on either mental health or substance use, it is difficult to find information specifically about co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. The NYSHealth Resource Center for Integrating Mental Health and Substance Use Services was created to provide information on publications, data, organizations, initiatives, and models of care that are key to the integration of mental health and substance use services in New York State.
